Cara's Black Scorpion (Stinger) and K9 Officer Sam Blaski performed their second search warrant on Wed. 12/17/08 in a town called Jenkins Twp. PA.
They were assisting an investigation from our department and the Attorney General’s Office. After gaining entry into the home, they performed a search. In the dirt basement, which was completely cluttered, Stinger gave a strong indication underneath numerous
pieces of debris. Stinger kept digging, through the carpet and dirt floor, and he came up with a large amount of Heroin. The Heroin was buried in the ground. Stinger then continued, in the basement, and he gave an indication on a older style furnace. The search team then checked the furnace and discovered it was not operational. Officers checked the interior of the furnace and discovered a large amount of Heroin and powder Cocaine. Way to go, Stinger!
Earlier, the team assisted the Attorney General's Office with a drug search warrant on a home in Plymouth, PA. While executing the warrant, K9 Officer Blaski was able to apprehend a fleeing suspect who jumped from the second floor. This male was the target for the warrant. After everyone was in custody, Stinger and Officer Blaski searched the home. Stinger gave indications in a bedroom in two different locations. The search team then searched the entire home, including where Stinger had indicated. 14+ bricks of heroin were located at the first place he indicated, and over $11,000.00 dollars was located in the other spot. No other drugs were located in the home, no false indications. The street value on the drugs seized was over $15,000 dollars. Not bad for Stinger's first search warrant! Above is a photo of Stinger sitting on a desk next to all of the money and drugs seized.
